Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Helper Harry, the website helperharry.com and the app at app.helperharry.com. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you use Helper Harry for a business, you confirm you can agree to these terms on its behalf.
1. Who we are
Helper Harry is provided by Pyxis Black Limited, Ballykealy, Fivealley, Birr, Co. Offaly, R42 W657, Ireland ("we", "us"). Contact us at harry@helperharry.com.
2. The service
Helper Harry is online software for print businesses: design, imposition, numbering, PDF tools, image editing, job management and related features. Some tools are free. Other features are grouped into modules that you can try and then subscribe to. We keep improving Helper Harry, so features may change. If we remove something important from a module you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including the actions of team members you invite.
- Tell us straight away at harry@helperharry.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
4. Free trials, subscriptions and payment
- New modules can be tried free for 14 days. No card is needed for a trial. When a trial ends, the module stops unless you subscribe.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through our payment provider Stripe. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. VAT is added where it applies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app, or by emailing harry@helperharry.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. If it still cannot be collected, we may pause the paid modules until payment is made.
- We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
5. Your content
You own the files, designs and data you put into Helper Harry and the files you create with it. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you, for example to make previews, run imposition and create your exports.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use everything you upload, including artwork, photos, fonts and logos supplied by your own customers.
6. Check before you print
Helper Harry prepares files for printing, but the final check is yours. Before you print, check proofs and output files for content, sizes, bleed, colour, numbering, imposition and cut paths. We are not responsible for the cost of printing, materials or re-runs caused by output you did not check.
7. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest designs, write or edit text, or change images. AI results can be wrong or unsuitable, so review them before you use them. When you use an AI feature, the content involved is sent to our AI providers to produce the result, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Your customers
If you store details about your own customers in Helper Harry, or invite them to your customer portal, you are responsible for your relationship with them, including your own terms of sale and privacy notice. We handle their data on your behalf, only to provide the service to you.
9. Fair use
Do not use Helper Harry to:
- upload or create anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- interfere with the service or other users, or try to get around security or usage limits;
- copy, resell or rebrand the software, or try to extract its source code, unless we have agreed this with you in writing;
- send spam or unlawful marketing through features such as email or the customer portal.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Where possible we will explain why first and give you a chance to put things right.
10. Availability and backups
We work to keep Helper Harry available and your files safe, including regular backups. We cannot promise the service will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or problems with our hosting providers. Keep your own copies of important files.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Helper Harry in that period.
12. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. Download anything you want to keep first. After an account closes, we delete its data within 90 days, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or that remain unpaid.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Helper Harry after that, the new terms apply.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
